Well, my blog title is a little misleading because I'll actually be living in Menesplet, Aquitaine, France. To say I'm excited is the understatement of the century, but I'm also a tad nervous. Honestly, who wouldn't be? Leaving your family and friends for a semester or year is tough and I admire everyone who is willing to do it, it takes some major gonads!

I'm ready to leave and the summer seems to be dragging, but there's nothing I can do about it! I've spoken to my host family a few times and they seem super nice; my host mother said she's already made up my room! I guess I'm not the only one who's excited.
